The summer 2017 NPT Newsletter is hot off the press ...

... and available in cool, easy-to-read PDF digital format here.

In this issue:

- Preservation Awards in eight categories wrapped up an action-packed Preservation Week in May. Read about this year's award winners --- and be on the alert for prospective nominees for next year.

- Preservation Week recap. Not only did Newburyporters happily go to jail for preservation on May 21 --- touring the "Old Gaol" (1825) at an NPT fund-raising event --- but throngs also enjoyed a multitude of activities all week.

- "If This House Could Talk". The popular NPT-sponsored stroll-and-read house history program expanded to the North End for this year's Yankee Homecoming July 29-Aug. 6.

- The newest "must-have" book on Newburyport architecture, The HABS and the HABs NOTs: Documenting the Architecture of Newburyport in the Historic American Buildings Survey by R.W. Bacon, was introduced during Preservation Week. Read more about the book ... or order your copy online ... here.

- Oops! House history is more than deed records. NPT's dedication to accuracy results in new discoveries and a new sign for a participant in the Historic House Plaque Program.

Happy reading ... and feel free to share your newsletter with interested folks and prospective NPT members.
